Welcome to Cayo Retreat, where luxury glamping meets the raw beauty of nature. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Black Mountain, our stunning waterside retreat offers an unforgettable escape, centred around spacious bell tents and uninterrupted panoramic views.
Proudly recognised with multiple awards for excellence from 2021 through to 2025, Cayo Retreat has established itself as one of the region’s most desirable and highly regarded holiday destinations.
By popular demand, we are delighted to introduce our all-new Superior Premium 7m x 7m Bell Tent, offering the ultimate glamping experience. This impressive accommodation comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and features adjacent heating along with a private outdoor seating area, creating the perfect space for families and groups to relax in comfort and style.
Set within nearly 8 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, Cayo Retreat welcomes a wide range of stays. Whether you’re joining us with a tent, campervan, motorhome, or embracing the ever-growing trend of the roof tent box, our site is perfectly suited to all styles of outdoor living.
We are also proud to be a dog-friendly retreat, meaning your four-legged companions are more than welcome to enjoy the space, freedom, and scenic surroundings right alongside you.
Our immaculately presented grounds are home to a private river that gently flows through the site, creating a peaceful and therapeutic atmosphere—perfect for switching off and reconnecting with nature.
Overlooking the retreat is a striking 11th-century castle, adding a unique sense of history and character to your stay, and providing a truly memorable setting unlike any other.
Guests can also enjoy the luxury of our bespoke private bathrooms and wet rooms, thoughtfully designed to combine comfort, style, and convenience throughout your stay.
As evening falls, prepare to be captivated by truly spectacular dark skies. With minimal light pollution, Cayo Retreat offers a magical stargazing experience that continues to leave guests in awe.
Ideally located, you’re just a short 10-minute walk from a welcoming country pub serving quality food and drinks, alongside a well-stocked local shop for all your essentials.
Cayo Retreat is more than just a stay—it’s an experience. A place of tranquillity, natural beauty, rich history, and understated luxury, where you can truly unwind, recharge, and escape the everyday
